Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the United States. Session content and progress data are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment information. We receive only a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe. You can view Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Your oral exam sessions are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. Your session messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate examiner responses. Anthropic may use this data in accordance with their usage policies. We recommend not sharing personally identifiable information in your exam responses beyond what is necessary for practice.
If you are a student who adds an instructor to your roster, that instructor will be able to view your ACS task progress, completed tasks, and assigned tasks. They will not be able to view the contents of your session conversations.
We use browser localStorage to store your login session and any pending plan selections. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
CheckrideReady is intended for student pilots. While student pilots may be under 18, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us for removal.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request any of these, contact us at support@checkrideready.org. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
